PRESS RELEASE

Vincent VAUTIER, new COGEP CEO

COGEP: new governance to pursue growth and strengthen multidisciplinary.

Vincent VAUTIER and Mathieu STENGER become CEO and Managing Director of COGEP

Vincent VAUTIER, new CEO of COGEP

Vincent VAUTIER was unanimously elected CEO by the partners in November 2023 and took up his post on 4 January 2024. As soon as he joined the Group in 2019, he joined the Management Committee. This early involvement in the life of COGEP gives him a good knowledge of the Group, how it works and its associates. He will ensure that COGEP’s founding values are respected.

While he will bring his own vision to the table, particularly in terms of anticipating the challenges facing the profession, his work will be a continuation of that of his predecessor, Laurent CHAPART. The latter will ensure a transition phase by refocusing his activities on external growth.

I would like to pay tribute to the work accomplished by Laurent CHAPART over the last few years. Under his impetus, COGEP has become a major player in the field of advice to company directors. I’m going to follow this growth trajectory and bring to life the culture of interprofessionality, a strong feature of COGEP’s DNA. On this basis, we will usher in a new era for COGEP, marked by the judicious use of AI and the effective consideration of social and environmental issues.

Mathieu STENGER, new Managing Director of COGEP

Mathieu STENGER, who joined COGEP in 2020 and is also a member of the Management Committee, has been appointed Managing Director. His experience in digitalisation and his organisational skills will be invaluable assets in the deployment of COGEP’s strategy.

Our ambitions

One of COGEP’s primary objectives is to strengthen its market position by continuing to grow at a sustained pace. In addition to growth in the traditional areas of chartered accountancy and the extension of its geographical coverage, COGEP will continue to broaden the multidisciplinary nature of its offering by integrating new areas of expertise in CSR, M&A, notarial work, etc. The enhanced vision of consultancy developed by COGEP will be enriched for the benefit of its clients.

At the same time, COGEP will be moving fully into the digital age and integrating AI into the heart of its organisation. Dedicated training plans will enable its employees to develop their skills in new, high added-value areas of expertise, anchored in the new realities of business leaders.

Our reason for being

At COGEP, interprofessionalism is a matter of course, a culture that has existed from the outset. COGEP is constantly integrating new professions into its ecosystem.

All our employees and partners, whether they are chartered accountants, lawyers, asset management consultants, specialised brokers, investment bankers, IT engineers, agricultural engineers, or CSR experts, are committed to a single objective: improving business performance.

The complementary nature of our different businesses certainly generates technical added value, but above all it creates the right conditions for comprehensive, personalised support for each customer.

Whatever the business, COGEP’s main strengths are the sharing of skills and resources, networking, responsiveness, creativity, agility, and ongoing training.
